Devlog #3: New Concept art and DEMO Progress!

Hey everyone! It's been a busy afew months (again) for the Plifery team. We're excited to share some major updates on the game's development.

  • First, We have added some grammar fixes since (Ermess) can't write without spelling like a 2 year old.
  • In addition, we're making great progress on the DEMO. The script is now 25% complete.
  • We've started sketching out some of the new environments. We are adding new characters and thinking of a smooth transition into the more serious stuff that the game contains.
  • Also the music and sprites are still being worked on, Ermess and Audrey (you can see down below the concept art for Audrey. Also fun fact we first draw the characters on paper then we draw them digitally, on paper we have a harder time drawing faces and hands though :P) well now the characters are starting to take form and soon we will update you all with some more jucey sneak peaks. so...     Devlog #2: Character Backstories and Sound Design

    Heyo it's been a busy afew months, sorry for the wait, here is what we have been working on:

    • adding depth to the story and already established characters.
    • We've finalized the backstories for Jake and Ermess, and we think you might actually cry a bit.
    • Of course, to create a more in-depth ambient we need a good soundtrack. The sound design is crucial for our visual novel, and we're taking our time to get it just right.
    • We've also been experimenting with some new visual effects for more immersive scenes. Here is a small preview of what we created, remeber to fullscreen it! (Also: Sorry for the lack of sprites we are working on them!):

    Devlog #1: Project Start, World Building And concept arts for the main cast

    Welcome to our first official devlog! We're kicking off the development of Plifery. We've spent the last few weeks finalizing the core narrative and defining the game's unique world. Our main focus right now is:

    • Establishing the history of the Pxicoquotanosis disease and it's concequenes.
    • Creating detailed character profiles for Jake, Krysto, Ermess, Audrey and many more!.
