Devlog #2: Character Backstories and Sound Design
June 30, 2025Heyo it's been a busy afew months, sorry for the wait, here is what we have been working on:
- adding depth to the story and already established characters.
- We've finalized the backstories for Jake and Ermess, and we think you might actually cry a bit.
- Of course, to create a more in-depth ambient we need a good soundtrack. The sound design is crucial for our visual novel, and we're taking our time to get it just right.
- We've also been experimenting with some new visual effects for more immersive scenes. Here is a small preview of what we created, remeber to fullscreen it! (Also: Sorry for the lack of sprites we are working on them!):
Devlog #1: Project Start, World Building And concept arts for the main cast
May 27, 2025Welcome to our first official devlog! We're kicking off the development of Plifery. We've spent the last few weeks finalizing the core narrative and defining the game's unique world. Our main focus right now is:
- Establishing the history of the Pxicoquotanosis disease and it's concequenes.
- Creating detailed character profiles for Jake, Krysto, Ermess, Audrey and many more!.
